Handle settings
Driver installation:
1. Open the control panel and double-click "Game Controller";
2. Click the "Add" button, click "Add Other";
3. Click "Install from Floppy Disk" and click "Browse" to find the downloaded driver "DirectPad Pro.inf"; what, you didn't download it? Then download it: dpadpr50.zip
4. Then confirm all the way until it is completed.
Note: This driver conflicts with some sound card drivers, and it crashes when the final appearance is completed. You can remove the sound card first, and then install the sound card after installing the handle driver.
PS single handle: all single handle setting methods are similar, now take PS handle as an example. After installing the driver, in the game controller of the control panel, click "Add", select "DirectPad Pro Controller" from the list, and confirm. Check the properties, select "PSX Left Analog" in the "Controller Type" (you can select the corresponding name for other handles), select "1" for the ID, and confirm. For other handles, just select the corresponding name in the "Controller Type".
PS dual handle: After installing the driver, in the game controller of the control panel, click "Add", select "DirectPad Pro Controller" from the list, and confirm. Repeat the above operation once. Check the properties of the first one, select "PSX Left Analog" in "Controller Type", select "1" for ID, and confirm. Check the properties of the second one, select "PSX Right Analog" in "Controller Type", select "2" for ID, and confirm.
PS vibrating single handle: After installing the driver, in the game controller of the control panel, click "Add", select "DirectPad Pro Force Feedback Controller" from the list, and confirm. Repeat the above operation once. Check the properties of the first one, select "PSX Left Analog" in "Controller Type", select "1" for ID, and confirm. Check the properties of the second one, select "PSX Right Analog" in "Controller Type", select "1" for ID, and confirm. In this way, both analog joysticks on the handle can be used.
PS vibration dual handle: After installing the driver, in the game controller of the control panel, click "Add", select "DirectPad Pro Force Feedback Controller" from the list, and confirm. Repeat the above operation once. Check the properties of the first one, select "PSX Left Analog" in "Controller Type", select "1" for ID, and confirm. Check the properties of the second one, select "PSX Right Analog" in "Controller Type", select "2" for ID, and confirm. But in this way, only one of the two analog joysticks on each handle can be used.
